Improve Your Golf Game- How to Find Training and Lessons

When you are trying to improve your golf game, there are many different ways that you can go about it. You owe it to yourself to learn about all of your options for training and lessons so that you can truly embrace your golf abilities and make the most of your game. One of the elements that many people don’t consider when seeking help with their game is technology. While many assume that the advances in technology are for the professionals and not just for everyday golfers, that is hardly the case. The reality is that anyone who is seeking a better game can benefit from the help of technology before hitting the course.

Indoor golf performance and fitting centers are a great solution to improve your golf game. These centers have state of the art equipment and technology to help everyone have a better game, regardless of their current skill level. Everyone from beginners to professionals can benefit from indoor golfing and fitting facilities, simply because the technology is irreplaceable in truly learning the game. Golf, like many sports, is mostly about angles, speed, and other mathematical measurements. Therefore, it makes sense that technology can be helpful in improving the game for people by utilizing those calculations to help them get better at golf.

If you want to improve your game and don’t have weeks to spend on the course learning on your own, consider indoor golf centers. These facilities have lessons, training courses, and full putting technology to help ensure that you are able to become the best golfer that you can be. With all of these benefits that come with utilizing the technology of indoor performance golfing, it’s really surprising that more people don’t take advantage of this growing trend to improve their game.

Once you improve your golf game indoors, you can take your skills out to the course and put them to the test. Golf isn’t about luck. It’s about skill, and with technology to help increase your skills you can have a better game in no time at all. Before you spend hundreds on a personal coach or hours on the golf course trying to get better, check out indoor performance centers to help make your golf game what it should be. You’ll find that they’re more affordable than you thought and much more beneficial to your game than you might have realized.

Golf for Beginners- Taking a Course in Golfing

Golf for beginners is a popular topic. Many people who decide to embark on the journey of learning to play golf aren’t sure where they should begin. While it isn’t wise just to head out to the course, there are other options that are available to help beginners learn the game of golf. One of the best ways to get training in the sport is to take advantage of indoor performance golf facilities. These centers have all of the latest and greatest technology to help anyone learn to golf, along with one-on-one attention that you deserve to help your golf game.

Personalized fitting, training, and practices that will help you learn the game is exactly what golf for beginners should include. Hiring a personal coach or going for lessons at a local course or club can get expensive, but indoor golf centers are a great solution because they are much more affordable and still give you the skills that you need to improve your golf game overall. With indoor performance centers, you should be able to find things like:

-Swing lessons

-Short game lessons

-Putting lessons

-Simulation

-Bunker training

-On-course instruction

-Personalized fitting

All of these basic courses are things that beginners need to learn in order to be successful at the game. Teaching golf for beginners takes a little bit of work but it becomes much easier for indoor facilities that have technology on their side. Be sure that you take the time to learn about indoor facilities when you are considering golf training, because they are sure to have something for everyone. From putting to full-game training, you can utilize technology to help you build skills and abilities that will last for a lifetime of golf games, no matter where you are starting from.

Golf for beginners is sometimes a stressful process. Training on an actual course can become very problematic and difficult for many people to handle because of all of the variables. A controlled environment is a much better solution for beginners because it allows them to focus on skill-building before they hit the course and try a round on their own. It’s affordable, convenient, and gives you access to all of the latest technology to help improve your golf game, so you really have nothing to lose. If you’re ready to learn about golfing in a better way, try indoor golf performance centers instead.

21 year-old Ratanakul is now a member of the Purdue University golf team in the US where he keeps in regular contact with Sir Nick Faldo for advice and support, while Suwannapura has used her win at Mission Hills as a springboard to further overseas victories, including the Handa Junior Masters in Australia, the Malaysian Amateur Open and the Riverwoods Junior Open in The Netherlands.  18 year-old Suwannapura is also well placed to challenge for playing rights on the LPGA Tour next year having progressed through Sectional Qualifying in the US.

With other Asian nationalities also eligible to enter the fourth Thailand Championship, a field of over 70 boys and girls aged 12 to 21 will be divided into five age categories, three for boys (Under-21, Under-18 and Under-16) and two for girls (Under-21 and Under-16).  The winner of each category will qualify for the fifth Faldo Series Asia Grand Final, an R&A World Amateur Golf Ranking event which the six-time Major Champion will host on the Faldo Course at Mission Hills in Shenzhen next March.

"Thailand has long been the preferred golf tourism venue in Asia — where golfers from across Asia-Pacific play on holiday. But as the overall focus of golf worldwide — its tournaments, its world-class talent pool, its course development — continues to shift East, Thailand has assumed an ever-larger role, especially in the tournament realm.

aboutGolf Simulator Leads To Major Improvement, Top Results for Thailand’s Junior Golfers

MAUMEE, OHIO — aboutGolf, the world leader in indoor golf simulator technology, is playing a key role in the success of a number of Asia’s top Junior golfers thanks to its aboutGolf Simulators, the company announced today.

When she’s not on the outdoor course, Thailand’s Suchaya (Cherry) Tangkamolpraser uses the aboutGolf Simulator at Bangkok-based Wilding Golf Performance Center, where she is coached by Shane Wilding, founder and head professional at Wilding Golf. The 14-year-old was awarded The Most Improved Junior Golfer of the Year from True Visions, a major Junior golf sponsor in Thailand. Tangkamolpraser also won several major Junior tournaments in Thailand, Asia and the United States, including the Callaway World Junior Championship (girls’ Class B 13-14 age category) in San Diego.

Like Tangkamolpraser, fellow Junior standouts Korntawat (Bright) Julamool, Chayanid (Jan) Prapassarangkul and Kesaree (Pearl) Rojanapeansatith have also achieved great success since working on Wilding Golf’s aboutGolf Simulators, once again proving how the aboutGolf Simulator can improve the way golfers—and golf teams—prepare for competition.

“The aboutGolf Simulator has a proven record of improving the performance of golfers around the globe, including here at Wilding Golf in Thailand,” says Wilding, an Australian golf coach with extensive amateur and professional (including PGA TOUR stars Curtis Strange, Ben Crenshaw, Tom Kite, David Eger, Graham Marsh and Stewart Ginn) teaching experience in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the United States. “aboutGolf technology helped these Junior golfers reach a world-class level of performance and, as an instructor, it is exciting to have aboutGolf’s incredible technology enhancing my teaching philosophies. The accuracy of the aboutGolf system is absolutely mind-boggling.”

Wilding’s students rely on aboutGolf Simulators to deliver the ultimate blend of accurate trajectory physics, precise ball and club tracking, great graphics, meticulously reproduced courses and great game-play. With two modes available on the simulator, Wilding and his team of 20 multi-lingual teaching professionals can give lessons “on the range” to develop a golfer’s swing or “on the course” for playing lessons that teach club selection and course management.

Wilding’s Junior students have been quick studies as to reaping the benefits of working with the aboutGolf Simulators. Julamool, coached by Wilding Golf since 2008, has enhanced his reputation as one of Thailand’s most-gifted young golfers by winning more than 18 tournaments, and finishing among the top-3 in 15 other events throughout Thailand, Asia and the United States. Julamool finished third in the 2009 Callaway World Junior and first in the TGA-CAT Junior Golf Rankings 2008-2009 (13-14 age group).

Prapassarangkul, just 14, is another exciting Thailand prospect. She won a number of major Junior golf tournaments throughout Thailand and Asia in 2009, including a victory in the European/US Kids Golf Championships.

During the last two years training with Wilding Golf, Rojanapeansatith has earned the No. 1 Junior ranking in her age group on the Thai Junior Golf Circuit. Pearl has confirmed her reputation as one of Thailand’s top Juniors by winning tournaments throughout Asia, as well as the 2009 TaylorMade World Junior Championship in the United States.

“We’re obviously thrilled when we hear what golfers can achieve by working with the aboutGolf Simulator in conjunction with a world-renowned instructor such as Shane Wilding,” says Chuck Faust, President and COO of aboutGolf. “These success stories are just the tip of the iceberg. Our technology will continue to evolve, and further drive game improvement.”

Company Profile

Golf has always been known as a challenging sport to master. It’s a dynamic game where success or failure can be measured in centimeters and that to play well, demands dedication, patience, skill and finesse. It can be a source of immense pleasure or extreme frustration. At the competitive level, it’s been dominated for centuries by those blessed with natural ability or fortunate to have been taught correctly. Yet despite its exacting nature, golf is today one of the world’s fastest growing sports.

Much of this burgeoning popularity can be attributed to the recent evolution of the sport. Equipment manufacturers have been pumping out a massive array of hi-tech, hi-performance and attractive looking gear—adding tremendous appeal and intrigue to the once traditional, low-tech sport. Colossal prize money, superstar players and round-the-clock media coverage have also driven interest in the sport.

And quietly in the background at the game’s top level, the past several years has also seen the development of revolutionary new performance technologies. Ones that integrate computer analysis and intuitive training methods, with equipment to optimized each player's game.

These technologies have allowed golfers to improve their performance quickly and with stunning results, but until now, have primarily been reserved for the sport’s touring elite. With the opening of the Wilding Golf Performance Centers in Bangkok these technological advantages enjoyed by the world’s top players are now available to golfers of all skill levels, seven days a week.

Founded by Shane Wilding, an internationally renowned golf coach, the Wilding Golf Performance Centers blend world-class training, state-of-the-art technology and advanced equipment to help players achieve their full golf potential and get the most out of their game.

"Golf has developed at an incredible pace across Asia, however the technology and training available in the region is still very traditional. Until now, golfers living in Asia have had to travel to the US, at considerable expense, to improve their game at state-of-the-art training facilities such as our Bangkok Performance Centers.”

"Golf is not a difficult game if you've been taught correctly, and given the right information on equipment." — Shane Wilding

Golf Training Thailand Can Help You to Get the Most from Your Game

If you are looking to improve your golf techniques why don't you try golf training Thailand, where else can you think of that is so beautiful with plenty of golf courses available, where the scenery is absolutely breathtaking, for example, resorts such as Bangkok, Phuket and Hua Hin. The views you will see as you travel around the course are fantastic.

Whether you are a complete beginner or have quite a bit of experience, junior golfer or pro golfer, there will be a lesson package available whatever stage you are at in your game.

Beginner’s lessons are designed to give you the best taste of the sport as possible. The first day’s lesson will be both relaxed and fun and there are full day packages from one to three days available. As well as the full day packages, lessons breaking down the individual elements are also available, for example, bunker and putting lessons and full swing lessons on driving range simulators.

An intermediate course may be suitable for you if you wish to increase the level of your skills. Courses are available for one to three days. The intermediate courses look towards improving your swing, bunker and putting skills as well as knowing how and when to use all the different clubs. The intermediate course will focus on how to improve the players score and in turn reduce the handicap.

Putting, chipping and pitching can be dealt with in short game improvement packages. This level of course focuses on improving the players overall performance and trying to reduce their handicap.

Local performance centers usually have technological equipment such as golf simulators, launch monitors, digital videos and body motion analysis. This equipment can be used to improve both short and long games. The data that these machines collect about you and your swing can be analysis by the instructor and used by them to try and give you help and advice on how to best improve your swing. They can then tailor your lessons around this and help to improve your overall game; this should then give you a better score and lower your handicap.

As an alternative to using a green where the grass can be affected by natural causes, such as heavy rainfall or uneven ground, the performance centers usually have synthetic putting greens, these represent perfect conditions and as such allow the instructor to check out the strengths and weaknesses in your swing and to suggest what can be done to overcome the weaknesses.

Thailand’s indoor golf performance centers are also a great venue for a corporate get together, business meeting or team building weekends as many of the indoor performance centers in Thailand have corporate suites fitted out with indoor golf course simulators

Want to Get the Right Golf Lessons and Training in Thailand?

Want to Get the Right Golf Training in Bangkok, Thailand?

Help is at hand….

How many times have you felt the urge to join your ex-pat buddies in Bangkok for a round of golf, but backed off because you didn’t think your performance was up to it? And your friends have all managed to get more golf practice in than you or were already getting golf swing lessons back home.

In fact one of the main reasons people take their time to pick up the clubs or refrain from playing golf at all, is the shear fear of making a fool of themselves on the golf course.

Others rush out and buy a set of golf clubs without correct fitting and start by bashing away on their own at a driving range hoping to improve their golf performance, but without a pro golf coach giving you the right lessons this can be fruitless.

Here in Bangkok we are fortunate to have several excellent golf training centers, where you can learn from scratch, or maybe to hone your game and even improve your handicap.

For golfers of all skill levels, the Wilding Golf Performance Centers in Bangkok provide many new and existing golfers with a helping hand. They blend world-class training, state-of-the-art technology and advanced equipment to help you achieve your full golf potential and get the most out of your game.

Designed and operated by renowned golf coach, Shane Wilding, his Performance Centers are staffed by a team of professional multi-lingual instructors and utilize an exclusive array of golf simulators, multiple-angle video cameras, swing and putting-analysis software, motion sensors and launch monitors.

Maybe to some of you this all sounds a bit too technical, but the atmosphere at their indoor golf centers is extremely relaxed and you can just go with the flow, at your own leisurely pace.

Apart from having their well equipped indoor centers, with their golf simulators, 3D and all the gear, they recently added a short game school which is located outdoors on the roof of the Grand Millennium hotel, featuring two well sized practice bays, a putting green, chipping green and sand bunker.

As well as providing professional training they also provide expert advice about buying golf equipment and clubs at their golf shop, where they stock all the latest models and accessories plus offer custom fitting options.

Custom fitting is rather like getting a suit made to fit but unlike a tailor made suit when buying golf equipment is more of a necessity. The testing of golf equipment to suit your body type and swing style by their specialists helps you get the highest level of performance possible.

From the statistics recorded such as carry, spin rate and launch angle our instructors will recommend your ideal shaft/loft combination for driver, irons and fairway woods.
